There is a lot going on...but change is coming!!!

We have had so many things going on in our lives, I haven't really felt like blogging. You never know what life will hand you and I have had so many mixed emotions, it has been very draining not only emotionally, but also physically.  In fact, I have been so busy, today was the first time in almost 4 days that I have even been on the computer.  I have 230 e-mails in my box and I am seriously thinking of just deleting them all and starting over. HA!!

This week has been no different than the last several weeks or even months. My brother-in-law had a seizure on Thursday this week and was admitted to the hospital with a heart rate at over 200 bpm. We went to the hospital to be with him. Then on Friday Grandma Dawn was in the same hospital and had surgery for her breast cancer. So, I ran back and forth to totally opposite sides of the hospital checking on Dennis (as Danny had to go back to work) and Grandma Dawn on Friday. There was no point in crying, so Jon & I got a kick out of Kelsey trying to hobble around with her broken ankle, what a sight!!! By the way, she goes back to the Dr. tomorrow. Grandma Dawn was released from the hospital Friday afternoon and Dennis was released Friday night. We brought him back home with us for the weekend to keep an eye on him. Danny took him back home this afternoon and he was doing better. He has had a rough few months, but we are so excited to see all that God is not only doing for him, but in him. Last week, we had to buy a new washer and dryer and the week before it was Kelsey's broken ankle. Wow!!

On top of everything, our housing situation right now is in "limbo". We are currently leasing our house and the owners have it on the market to sell. Today as I was driving down our street, there are 6 houses for sale and 2 others for lease; so, we won't have any trouble at all finding a place, it is just the hassle of having to move that does not excite me right now.

With all the uncertainty going on right now in our lives, one thing I am sure of - GOD IS IN CONTROL. I may not understand how, why or the timing, but I trust in Him. He has always been faithful and I know that the trials we go through now is just a stepping stone to an even greater blessing in the future. I can't wait to see what He does for us next.

I am looking forward to a GREAT week!!! Be encouraged this week my friends!! I love you and can't wait to hear from you. Love & Blessings!!!

It is so good to get updated and what an update. You are haveing many challenges and so goes the world around us, right? I will be praying for you and healing for your family.
We are involved in so many lives right now and are blessed to do that of course. We are meeting with a group re: Liberty House which is supported by our church. It is in the real ghetto and needs so much maitenence to keep it from falling down. yikes! Steve, a dear man ministers to the homeless, prostitutes, people of all ages on drugs, etc. I love working down there and am just burdedned for the children he works with daily. We are hoping to raise money to do the most needed renovation. I think God has provided man with means to help somewhat. He is not a christian, but has a good heart.
We so wish we could somehow sell the house to you. I keep praying God will make a way if that is what He wants for you. We are nearly desparate money wise, but God is so wonderful and will see us through this as he always does. I loved Danny's msg. on "why keep on praying." It so makes sense to me and I think of it often and re read it also. Tell him thank you.
Take care of YOU, and your family now.

    Love and blessings,

    Sharon
