Tonight while we were getting the girls ready to go to bed, they asked Danny to read them a book. I think that part of that comes from prolonging the time until they have to go to sleep. However, as I sat there with them, I was reminded how VERY entertaining and silly we can be. Danny started reading the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" in his "sing song" voice and Kelsey & I got the rhythm going with our clapping and swaying. We had a great time. I am so thankful for my family and I am so blessed to have them in my life.

I will get back on a "normal" blogging schedule. I'm sorry I haven't been more faithful with it the last couple of weeks. I have had some things that have literally taken the wind out of my sails. I have been exhausted physically and mentally. I have a lot on my heart and mind and am looking forward to sharing some of those thoughts with you all in time.

The other half of my "excuse" is that the summer has been SO busy for our family. We have constantly been on the go. Our nephew was here with us for a couple of weeks and we had a great time visiting with him. What's one more kid when you already have 3? I miss him, he is a good guy.

I can't wait to hear your thoughts and what you have been up to. I've missed you my friends.
